It was tough to pick just one article from the past year to share as a favorite; each of us has contributed so much to Between Designs in the last fast-passing twelve months. I always enjoy reading the other girls’ articles because so often we don’t just write about what we like or what’s popular, but we write about our lives. We’ve seen snippets of all of our little joeys growing up, we’ve celebrated our own weddings, we’ve shared birthdays… so many of which are so special. There are several that are especially dear to my heart, but, ultimately, I picked our How To: Recycled Paper Chandeliers as my favorite!
Katie and I made these chandeliers together a couple of years ago from scrap wedding invitations; they were crafted for a bridal show and now they hang in our studio. We have received so many compliments on them and I just love them. I’ve said I’m going to make some for my own home sometime… now that my wedding crafting craziness is over, perhaps I’ll have a little more spare time to do just that!
