What is Assembly?

We offer assembly of most invitations that are layered or that have embellishments (for example the Versailles or Victoria Damask invitations). Assembly means that we will adhere each layer of the invitation together or tie any bows or ribbons. If you order a Pocket or Bloom, all of your layers will be mounted directly onto the Pocket or Bloom, unless otherwise specified. If you order an invitation with ribbon, your ribbon will be cut and attached to your invitation. Assembly does not include inserting your invitation and accessory cards directly into your envelopes.

We do not assemble any accessories such as seals, etc. If you are assembling yourself, we recommend a strong, thin double sided adhesive to attach the different layers of the invitations. Please DO NOT use any type of "wet" glue, since you don't want the cardstocks getting damp or wet which can lead to wrinkling and/or buckling, and in some cases we have found with rubber-cement glue, the actual letters falling off your invitation!

Great service, quality invitation Review by New Orleans Wedding
I ordered these invitations and inserts for my wedding which took place in New Orleans. I used the black thermography ink and they turned out lovely. Very elegant and classy. I really liked the raised feel of the ink as I felt it made the invites appear more expensive. The script font I chose was a little thin in places which I knew could happen with the thermography, but I'm sure I'm the only one that really noticed.

We did use the bow.. My fiance turned out to be excellent at tying perfect bows! : )

And as others have said, the mailing cost is high due to the size of the envelope. Several were returned to me for extra postage (more than the $1.12 needed at the time of mailing) because some post offices considered it too large to be called a letter.. They were considering it a "parcel". I only had trouble with one city.. Just unfortunate luck that we had a few invitations going to that one city. All that being said, I loved that our invitations were square and larger than the standard invite. I felt it made them special and unique.

We also lined the inner envelope ourselves for an added personal touch. It was easy to create a template and we used a photo from our engagment shoot.

It's a lot of work to do your own invitations but I felt the savings made it worth it and I think these still felt like custom, high quality invitations. (Posted on 3/11/2014)
I love my invitations! Review by Bridget
I love these invitations. I ordered a sample of one before ordering all of my personalized invitations, and I am very please with the way they turned out. Unfortunately, it costs a little more to mail them because of the size, but they are really great quality. I wasn't crazy about the large bow, but they come with the invitation. The ribbon is supplied on spools in whichever color you choose. It is not pre-cut and tied into a bow, but the invitations look just fine (better) without the bow. Because the ribbon is included, we will likely use it in the floral arrangements. I chose the thermography ink and the ecru paper. There are a lot of color and font options to personalize the invitations which we appreciated. Also, the envelopes are provided with inner and outer envelopes. The inner envelopes can be lined which was great as well. They do not offer too many color options for the lining, but it really looks great with the black that we chose. I would definitely recommend these invitations (just be aware of the cost of mailing - I priced the mailing cost on the sample that was provided to get a good idea). They are a wonderful quality and look fantastic! (Posted on 3/3/2014)
Beautiful Invitations Review by pamcakes
The invitation is very elegant. It makes a great first impression upon opening. The only negative is the postage to mail these invitations. (Posted on 12/19/2013)
