Save the Date CardsSave the Date cards are not necessary for every occasion, but they can be a wonderful way to generate excitement and ensure all your loved ones attend your special day! Particularly if you are having a destination wedding, a holiday weekend wedding, or live a great distance from friends and family, you will want to send Save the Dates far enough in advance so that guests can make all their necessary arrangements. In many cases, people will want to take time off work, search for travel deals, or simply clear their busy calendars for your big day, so it's appropriate to give them at least five months, or as many as twelve months, notice. Because Save the Date Cards do not have to follow traditional etiquette, or match your invitations or the theme of your wedding, they provide a great opportunity to send a fun, creative message! Save the Dates can be classic or contemporary. They can even be magnets or other non-traditional items. Use this opportunity to have some fun and get your loved ones excited for your event.
