But what if love the idea of saying “cheers” to your guests, but really don’t quite want to go the “glassware route”? Our suggestion is to pick a recognizable brand with an appealing label (preferably one that matches your wedding theme). Another option is to choose a varietal that has particular significance for the two of you as a couple, and write a little note about how you “sipped this wine in Napa” or “toasted with this champagne the night of your engagement”. Wrap it all up in a lovely gift bag embossed with your initials and wedding date, and your guests will feel that you’ve shared some happy memories with them, and they’ll be able to toast to your happiness long after they’ve left your reception! |
