What they are – Programs list the bride and groom, members of the wedding party, the officiant and any readers and other participants in the wedding ceremony. They are provided by ushers or placed in a basket at the wedding venue entrance for guests to take. They may also be placed in pews.
Do you need them? – This really depends on your tastes. Some couples want people to have as many mementos as possible of their special day. You will want to provide them if your ceremony will include and rituals that may be unfamiliar to your guests.
Other Tips – Wedding Programs are a great place to put the lyrics to any special songs that will be played at your ceremony, particularly if you wish guests to join in singing them.
