Wedding Bouquet How To – Part 2

Putting the bouquets together isn’t nearly as difficult as you may think, but that doesn’t mean it is super easy either; it just takes time. Consider calling in reinforcements like your mother or grandmother if you need help.

There really isn’t a “specific” way to go about this. But one way would be to have a couple of the girls carrying one of the colors and a the other girls carrying the other color with the bride carrying a combination of both colors. Each bouquet can have twigs and a feather..

With these things in mind (or whatever you choose), you can now get to work.  Also, you will need to decide on the length of the stem.  Do you want long and slender so you can carry it in the “crook” of your arm? But, in all reality, as you put together the bouquet, feel free to move things around and change things to see what looks best.

Be careful with using the twigs. You don’t want them to be too thin and you don’t want them to be too thick and overpower the bloom; you don’t want it to look like you are carrying kindling.  So be prepared to tweak them to get them just perfect and so that everyone loves them. Then place a single feather in the front of the bridesmaids’ bouquets and give the bride a few feathers.  Then wrap everything together with florist tape. Next, take the sage ribbon and wrap it over the top of the florist tape and using a hot-glue gun, carefully glue rhinestones up and down the side so that it will have a little sparkle as you walk down the aisle. At first you may think the rhinestones will clash but, you may be surprised with how it turns out!
