Oh, how I love September! And, oh, how it has flown by… what with all sorts of birthdays (mine’s actually today… eek), weddings, and such. It also marks the beginning of autumn. While I was preciously hanging on to the last days of summer earlier this month, once the crisper air hit around the official first day of fall, I must say that fair-weather feeling kicked in and I’m pretty excited about it. Let’s just hold off on rushing any snowflakes though, okay?!
Yesterday we all went to Mellow Mushroom for our employee lunch and Kristen surprised us with a sweet little cake to celebrate our recent blog birthday! Since I was out of town all last week, the girls patiently held off on our celebration. How cute is that cake from Sugar Buzz Bakery?! It was quite tasty too… salted caramel, yum.
